All after school and evening activities in the Howard County Public School System have been canceled. However, programs provided by Columbia Association and the county department of recreation and parks are still being held as usual.
The Howard County Board of Education's meeting scheduled for Dec. 16 has been canceled.

The winter concert for Oakland Mills Middle School has been postponed and will be rescheduled for Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. at Oakland Mills High School.
The PTA meeting at Talbott Springs Elementary School has been canceled.
Oakland Mills' wrestling match vs. LaPlata, scheduled for tonight at Glenelg, of all places, has been postponed to Dec. 18.
